The challenge

Decouple an existing travel booking application and modernize its user experience and architecture.

My contribution

  • Re-architected the application from server-rendered HTML to a modern SPA and migrated the backend from PHP 7 to PHP 8.
  • Enabled agentic search through MCP and WebMCP, and added site tracking with Google Tag Manager and observability tools.
  • Directed an agent-driven development workflow, delivering the modernization in stages from planning in 2025 to completion in 2026.
